The great Brazilian football player Pele left the world. According to a statement from Sao Paulo's Albert Einstein Hospital Pele died of multi-organ failure on Thursday due to colon cancer .

Pele was hospitalized last month due to complications related to a respiratory infection and colon cancer.

Last week, when the hospital had said that his health was deteriorating as the cancer progressed, since then the apprehensions of the untoward started rising in the minds of the fans.
